The COMMIT Foundation Announces its Formation

On April 10, 2012 The COMMIT Foundation proudly announced its formation at a gathering of MissionLink at the Towers Club in Vienna, Virginia. While the COMMIT founders have been actively and successfully transitioning veterans since 2006, the organization officially formed in March 2012. “We realized the work that needed to be done in the space and the tremendous impact we could have by harnessing our networks and our resources,” said COMMIT Executive Director, Anne Meree Craig. The COMMIT Foundation and the SOCOM Care Coalition spoke to the group of nearly 100 MissionLink CEOs garnering the private sector support for meaningful veteran employment. The organizations will work closely together to ensure our men and women leaving uniform are being transitioned the right way.
