The COMMIT Foundation Receives Multi-Year Gift from the A. James & Alice B. Clark Foundation

The COMMIT Foundation is honored to announce a multi-year gift from the A. James & Alice B. Clark Foundation. The gift is in support of COMMIT’s mission to serve exceptional American servicemembers as they transition out of uniform to pursue personal and professional purpose.

The Clark Foundation investment will enable COMMIT to expand services and more deeply impact our program participants. COMMIT will increase the number of Transition Workshops facilitated nationwide with plans to empower local ecosystems by partnering with like-minded Veteran Service Organizations.

Support from the Foundation will also allow us to invest in technology solutions to bring COMMIT’s effective programs to a broader audience, and further enable COMMIT staff, mentors, and coaches to strengthen the delivery and impact of COMMIT’s One on One Transition Assistance services.

“COMMIT is honored to have an incredible partner in the A. James & Alice B. Clark Foundation. The Clark Family has an extraordinary track record of connecting effort with opportunity and giving people a sense of purpose and community. COMMIT and Clark are aligned in these goals and we look forward to making the Clark Family proud by reinvesting our nation’s finest into the fabric of this great country.”

– Anne Meree Craig, Executive Director, The COMMIT Foundation.

The COMMIT Foundation creates tailored transition solutions for top veteran talent and reaches veterans across the Nation through high-impact workshops and One on One Transition Assistance programs. Programs are designed to meet each participating veteran where they are in their unique journey, and address the challenges and goals of individuals.

The A. James & Alice B. Clark Foundation seeks out grantees who build practical, immediate and concrete connections between effort and opportunity — from scholarships for engineering students, to better schools for DC’s children to veteran reintegration programs. The Clark Foundation targets its support of the veteran community to help veterans navigate the transition from military to civilian life, investing in their education, employment, family, health/wellness and sense of purpose.
