The COMMIT Foundation Welcomes Two New Directors to the Team

Matt Hayden (Director of Online Programs and Content) joins The COMMIT Foundation as a result of his own journey through military transition and desire to support a high-impact team that serves the Veteran community. Matt has over 13 years of active service to the U.S. Army with multiple tours to both Iraq and Afghanistan as an AH-64D Apache Longbow attack helicopter pilot. He continues to serve with the Army Reserve as an Adjunct Professor of Military Science at The Ohio State University. Matt holds a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and is completing his Master of Science in Industrial Engineering from NMSU.

Jake (Director of Workshops) joins The COMMIT Foundation to continue pursuing his passion of service to the transitioning Veteran community. Deploying twice as an infantry officer in the U.S. Army and after almost six years active duty service, Jake brings 10+ years of experience to the COMMIT team having held various technical project and program management roles in the defense, technology, and management consulting industries. Most recently, Jake led the marketing and recruiting efforts in California for a nationally based non-profit organization that provides free IT training programs to Veterans and Military Spouses.
