COMMIT Foundation Holds Leadership Lab in Denver
Bozeman, Mont. – The COMMIT Foundation will host a workshop in Denver on May 14 and 15 to unlock the leadership potential of transitioning service members and military spouses. Daniels Fund is providing the venue for the workshop which serves as a launchpad for transformation, and is designed to help high-potential individuals build futures filled with purpose, identity, and impact.
Twenty selected participants will engage in curated conversations and small-group sessions with military veterans, corporate trailblazers, and civic innovators from Denver. Business leaders will step out from behind the boardroom to share real-world stories, candid advice, and authentic insights, all in service of helping others shape their next chapter.
Among those attending are some of the nation’s most accomplished veterans—who have led elite military units, launched successful businesses, and navigated high-impact roles in government and academia. Each participant was selected not only for their service but for their vision to lead and contribute at the highest levels in civilian life.
JC Glick, retired Army Lieutenant Colonel and CEO of The COMMIT Foundation, will also be in attendance to facilitate sessions, meet directly with participants, and champion the organization’s mission of lifelong transformation over transactional transition.
“This isn’t about giving someone a checklist to leave the military—it’s about helping them design a life that reflects their purpose, values, and potential,” said Glick. “We’re proud to walk alongside leaders who will shape the next generation of business, service, and innovation.”
Linda Childears, former President and CEO of the Daniels Fund, serves as a senior advisor for The COMMIT Foundation. “The men and women who have served our country have given so much to our country and have developed some very valuable skills. I am so impressed with the important work of COMMIT to help our veterans identify how their skills transfer to the civilian workforce. I am honored to be a Senior Advisor to COMMIT,” said Childears.
“I’m consistently impressed by the caliber of veterans transitioning to the private sector. The COMMIT Foundation brings together these exceptional individuals with a dedicated team of mentors and professionals, creating a powerful network fueled by purpose,” said Christopher Grillo, COMMIT Fellow and mentor. “As someone who personally benefited from COMMIT’s guidance in navigating a major career shift, I’m a firm believer in the value they deliver and the opportunities they unlock.
Grillo, a partner at Brightstar Star Capital Partners, sees an added bonus for companies that work with COMMIT. “Partnering with The COMMIT Foundation connects businesses with high-performing leaders. These individuals bring proven leadership, adaptability and a strong bias for action–qualities that enable them to drive impact from day one.”
This workshop is made possible through a growing network of mission-aligned partners and mentors from across Denver, including Brightstar Capital Partners, DeNova, Workday, Palantir, The Liminal Collective, and several non-profit organizations.
