Alex Genovese

Program Director and Workshop Coordinator


Alex is the Program Director and Workshop Coordinator at The COMMIT Foundation, where she supports service members, spouses, and their families throughout their transition journeys from military to civilian life. Before joining The COMMIT Foundation, Alex worked for another non-profit veteran organization and, prior to that, served four years as a Nuclear Missiles Officer, developing critical leadership and decision-making skills in high-pressure environments. Alex earned her undergraduate degree in Community Health from The University of Texas at San Antonio, where they cultivated a passion for supporting communities and advocating for holistic well-being. In her role at COMMIT, she is dedicated to ensuring veterans and their families receive the guidance, resources, and personalized support they need during their transition process. Residing in Texas with her husband and two daughters, Alex is deeply committed to empowering the veteran community. She enjoys balancing a fulfilling career with family life, always ensuring her dedication to veterans remains a top priority.
