Kim Thompson

Kim is an International Coaching Federation (ICF) Associate Certified Coach (ACC) and a Co-Active Professional Coach (certified CPCC) with 32 years of DoD experience in military, government civilian and defense contractor industries in broad STEM communities (including Electrical/System Engineering), Training, and Space System industries.  

Being a self-described nerd, Kim has an undergraduate degree in Computer Science and a graduate degree in Organizational Development and Leadership. Having worked in a diverse and largely neurodivergent workforce, Kim employes an individual coaching-based needs approach to provide opportunities for maximum connection and personal/professional growth in clients. With Kim, there is no one-size fits all approach to her coaching. She is certified to facilitate the DiSC assessment and Strong Interest Inventory.  Additionally, she is trained in the Clifton Strengths Finder, Knowdell Career Card sort, and was a National Security Agency (NSA) Career Guidance advisor.

Kim is a retired Senior Chief Petty Officer, wife, mom, and most importantly, a grandmother to four.
