Charles Spearman


From 2011 to 2024, Charles served as a Managing Director and Senior Managing Director at Guggenheim Partners – a financial services company. In 2012, Charles established Guggenheim’s Veterans Transition Assistance Program (VTAP). Charles is a board member of the COMMIT Foundation and advisory board member on CoreFirst’s National Disability Inclusion Advisory Board. Prior to joining Guggenheim, from 1997 to 2011, he was the co-founder and principal of Tucker Spearman and Associates, Inc., an organizational design and management company, specializing in compliance management. executive leadership and organizational effectiveness. Charles consults on organizational policy design and execution and has been a frequent speaker before industry leaders on compliance trends. Charles has provided expert witness testimony on the integrity of compliance prevention systems and investigations in employment litigation and has authored papers on these topics. His clients have included corporations, universities, government institutions and professional associations such as Footlocker, Mitsubishi, Volkswagen Group of America, Coca Cola Bottling Group, American University, DOJ, HUD, U.S.P.S., the Urban Land Institute, and the National Association of Attorneys General. Charles served on the faculty at Georgetown University’s Master of Professional Studies in Human Resources Management and has taught at Cornell University’s Industrial and Labor Relations School. Charles is a founding member of the Alliance of Securities and Financial Educators an alliance of volunteers that facilitates and provides design and delivery of securities and finance curriculum to law students. Charles served as a senior advisor at both federal and state agencies. He has served on the board of the Women’s Business Enterprise Council and the National Minority Supplier Development Council in NY. He is the past President and former board member of Stop Child Abuse Now of Northern Virginia. Charles resides in Northern Virginia with his wife, Nancy and their four-legged U.K. veteran Charlie, that was trained as an explosive bomb detection dog.
