Kristen Lauerman

Kristen Lauerman is a development professional with extensive frontline experience. She has raised critical support for large nonprofits in the arts and higher education sectors. Kristen has expertise in major gifts, annual giving, volunteer management, and event planning. Kristen believes that successful fundraising goes beyond the transactional. She collaborates with donors to explore their passions and finds opportunities for them to fulfill their philanthropic goals. She works to build strong, personal relationships with donors so they can have a life-long connection and relationship with the organization. Kristen holds an MFA in Film Studies from Boston University and an MS in Nonprofit Management from Simmons College. A former film curator and educator, Kristen has established herself as a high-energy, creative, and results-driven fundraiser who enjoys telling a great story. A Coast Guard spouse, Kristen lives in San Juan, Puerto Rico, with her husband and two children.
